Home Our Station
May 12th ILB
While the ILB was out on exercise this evening, Gt. Yarmouth Coastguard contacted the ILB crew at approximately 20:00 and requested them to investigate a report of an object in the water off Mundesley.

The ILB proceeded towards Mundesley approximately 300 yards from the shore with the crew maintaining a careful lookout.

As the ILB reached the East end of Overstrand the crew were contacted once more by the Coastguard who told them they were no longer required as the information was erroneous and the ILB was stood down.

The ILB turned around and head for home, retuning to station and made ready for service at 20:40.
