'RUBY' carries on her work

News  Former station lifeboat ON-1097 affectionately known as 'Ruby' is going abroad to carry on saving lives at sea.

Ready to go!

The RNLI lifeboat ON-1097 formerly RNLB Ruby and Arthur Reed II, which served as the Cromer station lifeboat for 21 years, was due to leave the RNLI Headquarters in Poole during mid-August 2008 on her way to China.

We understand that she will be taking up station in the south China sea as part of the Haikou stations on Hainan, operated by the Nanhai Rescue Bureau as Huaying 382
