At 18:42 the ILB was paged for the second time this afternoon, after reports of two youngsters in difficulties at the end of the 1st groyne East of the Pier at Cromer. The casualties were reported to be struggling against the current! The ILB and its crew managed to get to the waters edge before the youngsters made it ashore and the launch was cancelled at 18:49 by the Coastguard. ILB and crew returned to station and rehoused ready for service. |
