| August 4th ILB |

While the crew were making ready the 'Royal Shipwright' for her launch, Yarmouth Coastguard requested the ILB to launch to another incident unfolding along the coast at Mundesley. Leaving enough crew on the beach to launch the ALB, the ILB was brought out of her boathouse and fired up to warm the engine while the crew got into their gear. When all was ready the ILB was taken down onto the beach and launched near the Pier making her way east towards Mundesley. It was an unusual sight to see the offshore boat following the ILB down the beach on its way to another incident! While proceeding towards Mundesley the crew aboard the ILB made several attempts to contact Yarmouth Coastguard to let them know it was on its way. Channel '0' was very busy with communications from land and sea based stations covering a number of incidents at the time! Having made it as far as Trimingham the situation in Mundesley had been resolved and the missing child had been found safe and well! Crew
