ILB launched to report of 2 inflatables in trouble

Whilst recovering the ALB from exercise a message was received that 2 inflatables were being blown out to sea at East Runton.

The relief ILB John Kennedy was launched at 15.40 and proceeded  to East Runton where it discovered 2 unmanned inflatables approx 0.5 nm off East Runton Gap.

The ILB searched to ensure their were no casualties, and when the occupants were reported safe by the Coastguards, the ILB escorted another couple of inflatables back to the shore.

The ILB then returned to Cromer arriving at 16.05.
