Cromer crew paged for ILB launch at 10:52

The crew assembled at the No.2 boathouse and prepared the inshore lifeboat 'Seahorse III' for the launch.

They entered the  the water at 11:00 and proceeded approximately 1.5nm North of the station to assist a local fishing boat LISA DIANE that had suffered engine failure.

Once on scene they assessed the situation and made the decision to tow the craft back to the east beach at Cromer from where the fishing vessel had launched.

At 11:30 the ILB and fishing vessel were safely ashore.

Seahorse III was then re-fuelled, washed down and made ready for service.
