Lifeboat crew paged at 08:14 for early morning launch.

The pagers sounded to launch the ILB 'Seahorse III' this morning to assist a Trimingham fishing boat ashore.

The vessel was initially assisted by Cromer lifeboat Coxswain, John Davies, who happened to be nearby in his own fishing boat until it was decided to get the help of the inshore lifeboat to tow the casualty vessel ashore.

With the fishing boat safely ashore the ILB returned to station.
