Updated... On a busy afternoon on the beach at Cromer the crew were paged to make the inshore lifeboat ready for an immediate launch to assist with a sufboarder who had been reported in difficulties just off the shore. On arriving at the boathouse the ILB crew were requested to launch by Yarmouth Coastguard to proceed to the west of the pier. As the Seahorse III arrived on scene the boarder had successfully reached the beach and having made sure all was well the crew left the casualty with the local Coastguard rescue team. While returning to station the crew were tasked to investigate reports of an inflatable in difficulties to the east of the pier, on arriving at the last reported sighting a search was carried out and nothing was found. This was found to be a false alarm with good intent. The Seahorse III was rehoused, refuelled and ready for service at 17:25 Crew on Board
